Tortuga Boat Adventures grew out of a simple idea: every guest who steps aboard should leave feeling like part of the crew. For about fifteen years, Captain Brian and First Mate Christina have shared Sarasota’s waters with families, couples, and friends looking for a day they won’t forget: quiet sandbars, playful dolphins, and sunset cruises that make the whole trip worth it. What started as a love for boating has turned into one of Sarasota’s most trusted private charter teams, one tour at a time.

Captain Brian
After more than fifteen years on Sarasota Bay, Captain Brian knows the area the way most people know their own neighborhood — the quiet sandbars, the spots where dolphins tend to surface, and the calmest routes for a smooth ride no matter the day. He runs every trip with safety front and center, but he’s just as focused on making sure guests actually have fun — whether that means slowing down for a great photo or pointing out something most tourists never get to see.

OUR Boat
Every Tortuga tour runs aboard a 2018 NauticStar 243 DC, a deck boat built for comfort as much as performance. With a 200 HP Yamaha engine and a top speed near 35 knots, we can reach Sarasota’s best spots quickly — then slow right down to enjoy them. Guests have room to relax on the bow sundeck, cool off under the bimini shade, and cruise with music playing through the onboard sound system. Up to six guests can join per trip, so it always feels spacious rather than crowded.
